Default Hello Again... and Welcome to All

It is amazing how quickly times flies. I look at the last welcome post.. 12 pages long and over 2 years old. WOW. And my how things have changed. I am very greatful for everyone and their hard work keeping these boards as great as they are.

I recently got married in June and we moved to Long Island, NY. I am about a hour outside NYC. I work as a Math Teacher in Brooklyn where I teach 7th and 8th grade math. I am really not fond of the school or the circumstances, and am actively seeking another position for next Sept.

My son is 10 and growing like a weed. It is amazing that he will be entering 6th grade, which is middle school here. The attitude has begun. He still loves sports and excells in school.

My husband is a musician. He is the Music Director for a local church and plays the organ for one of the services. He is also a member of the Long Island Choral Society. He is a great guy, who is very caring.

Hopefully, I will have more time to devote to the site... I see spring wallpaper from last year... bet you all giggled through summer, fall and winter... but now.. haha it works....

I will be updating it soon.

Thank you all again,
chicky

Talking yeah it snows

It does snow occasionally... not like in MIchigan though. Here it melts in a few days usually. Had records snow fall last month, something like 24 inches of snow... and NYC still had school the next day! CRAZY! Walking from the train to work that day was a mess.

Are you visiting NYC? It is a great city. I try to visit Manhattan whenever I can. I am slowing converting from a tourist to a local.

Amber,
Thanks for the formal Welcome!

Your life sounds busy, interesting and fun.

The site is wonderful.

Can I make a suggestion or two?

You were speaking about updates-how about a new background and NEW SMILIES!!

I would love to see some new things.

Thanks again for everything Chicky!
